Qatar Airways has officially announced that it will be launching new nonstop flights to Melbourne, Australia from Dec 6th 09 using a B 772LR from its Doha hub. Initially, the flights will be flown 3 times per week and then increased to a daily frequency a month later. However, no announcement has been made as yet with regards to when it will be launching its Sydney service.
