Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has confirmed that it will be launching new twice weekly flights to STN-London Stansted Airport from Pakistan effective April 1st 2009. Both flights will be flown via Dubai with no 5th freedom rights using an Airbus A 310-300. Operations will be on WED from Lahore and on FRI from Islamabad respectively where as the DXB stopover enroute is primarily for re-fueling purposes.
