Thai Airways will be suspending all its flights to JNB-Johannesburg, South Africa which are currently flown nonstop from Bangkok 3 times a week using an Airbus A 340-600. The suspension will be in effect from Jan 16th 09 as the airline undertakes a radical approach towards downsizing all un-profitable long haul flights which do not meet minimum yield and revenue expectations.
