Emirates increases Munich capacity

Emirates has officially announced that it will be significantly increasing capacity on its popular Dubai-Munich service effective 01JUN16.

Currently, EK operates a triple daily nonstop service using an A380 double daily + daily B 777-300ER. However, from 01JUN, all 3 daily flights will be exclusively operated by the 3 class A380 offering a more standardized product across the board.

EK is also taking full advantage of Lufthansa's withdrawal of the route which creates a big capacity/demand gap considering that the O&D demand between MUC and DXB in 2015 was 280,000 passengers !
